Your right to use, publish, distribute, sell, license, or otherwise commercially exploit any content produced with BookNova.ai — including complete books, drafts, chapters, outlines, text, AI-generated images, and exported PDF files (collectively, "Generated Content") — is granted to you in exchange for, and conditional upon, your retained paid access to BookNova.ai. This license is contingent on your purchase remaining in force.
When you request and receive a refund, this license is automatically and retroactively revoked. A refund unwinds your purchase and returns your payment in full; because you have therefore not paid for the AI generation you received, you no longer hold any license to the Generated Content created under that purchase.
Accordingly, from the moment you request a refund, you are prohibited from publishing, uploading, distributing, selling, or monetizing any Generated Content on any platform or in any medium. This includes, without limitation, Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), Amazon print-on-demand, Apple Books, Google Play Books, Kobo Writing Life, Barnes & Noble Press, Draft2Digital, IngramSpark, other e-book or print-on-demand marketplaces, audiobook platforms, your own website or store, and any other third-party service.
Modification does not remove this restriction. This prohibition applies even if you have edited, rewritten, translated, expanded, shortened, combined, reformatted, or otherwise modified the Generated Content. Any book or work that is based on, derived from, or was created in whole or in part using BookNova.ai remains subject to this restriction, regardless of how much it has since been changed. Modifying refunded content does not create a new, independent right to material you have not paid for.
By requesting a refund, you represent, warrant, and agree that:
If you wish to keep and publish the books you created with BookNova.ai, please retain your plan and do not request a refund. You cannot both recover your payment and keep the right to commercialize the work it produced.
Publishing or otherwise commercially using Generated Content after requesting or receiving a refund is a material breach of these terms, an unauthorized use of our service, and unjust enrichment at our expense — we incur real, non-recoverable AI generation costs for every book produced, whether or not you keep your plan. In such cases, IMAGE LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
